Poets' Corner Weißensee
The other side of a feeling
The poems of these four poets are made of skin, of mesh, satin and tracksuit bottoms, sifted curtains, feathers and thickets of lattice tulle. They are made of jelly, glaze and silk, stained T-shirts, fur and hair. They are black, pink, golden, translucent, red, blue, shimmering emerald, very red. They deal with myths and everyday life, with relatives and soldiers, with cities as backdrops to strangeness and apocalypses, with all kinds of animal creatures and hybrids between Capri Suns and milkshakes, with human bodies. All the great emotions make an appearance: Love, pain, sadness, longing, anger, fear, loneliness and hope. They examine what is going on inside and wait: For what is currently in the making, for how it will be transformed in the poem.
